There ain’t a dime’s worth of difference between em, as old George Wallace used to say of Republicans and Democrats.
Both Obama and McCain are campaigning today for the $700,000,000,000.00 ripoff bailout of Wall Street, the tax bill mailed to your mail box on Main Street. Either one of them could have seized the day — and the election — by leading the revolt against the Wall Street-White House-Congressional complex of crooks.
Instead, both crooks are flying to Washington now to vote for the scam in the U.S. Senate.
McCain said:
Following Sept. 11, our national leaders came together at a time of crisis. Now, with this measure, we have another chance to come together to prove that Washington is once again capable of leading this country.
Isn’t he supposed to be the “Maverick” leading a revolt against Washington? A tamer tool of the Establishment there never has been.
Obama, supposedly an outsider, was just an echo:
This plan is not perfect. Democrats and Republicans in Congress have legitimate concerns about it. I know many Americans share those concerns, but it is clear that this is what we must do right now to prevent a crisis from turning into a catastrophe.
Duopoly
There really is no choice between them in this election. It’s another triumph of the “duopoly,” as Ralph Nader calls our corrupt political system. The past week, Americans have risen up and protested the $700,000,000,000.00 heist by the banksters. The defeat of the robbery on Monday was important, but temporary. The robber banks aren’t going to give up that easily. They paid for Congress, and they’re going to get their pound of flesh.
This is just the beginning of the revolt against these criminals.
The main thing to do now is to not vote for the bank crooks’ two top call girls, Obama and McCain.
Instead, vote for one of the third-party candidates. If you’re of the libertarian/conservative persuasion — like me — choose between Bob Barr of the Libertarian Party or Chuck Baldwin of the Constitution Party. If you’re of the liberal/leftist persuasion, choose between Ralph Nader or the Green Party’s Cynthia McKinney.
Or just don’t vote.
Imagine if they gave a crooked election and nobody came.
