Big Brother is listening to YOU

bigIn one of the worst federal court decisions ever, the Soviet 6th Court of Appeals said it’s OK for the government to continue spying on you and reading your email without first getting a warrant.

Make that the U.S. 6th Court of Appeals. Nowadays, it’s easy to get U.S. courts mixed up with the old Soviet courts.

The decision directly contradicts the U.S. Constitution, in which the Fourth Amendment clearly commands the goverment:

The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.

According to the news story, the Bush regime “cheered” the unconstitutional 6th Circuit edict. The Bush tyranny can’t leave office soon enough.
